Since this new arc of history began, destructive criticism, massive hate and threats have overflowed into hundreds of profiles. It's no longer "oh, I hate Gege akutami" now and for a while now it's "I hate Gege akutami - his manga is horrible I'm gonna drop it (they never do) - he doesn't deserve popularity - he doesn't know how to write - he pretends to have an illness."

look i am not a lando norris fan at all but for the lando fans pls have SOME decorum we're all stressed about the race coming up, we all have our favorite drivers that we want to win I get it, this is a crucial part of the race. At least on my views, i don't want Lando to crash or DNF like yeah it would help max but i wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy so at the same time stop wishing it for max, dont wish that for any driver imo because that's childish and rude on top of all this, lemme clarify max will NOT try to crash into lando on purpose (ive been seeing posts like that)... i fear people keep forgetting that max has matured a lot more than people give him credit for. He raced clean in Brazil, the worst he's done as of late was his classic pushing them off track limits move but any other driver would do the exact same thing at the moment in order to secure their championship. at the end of the day, it's so funny how a number of people that the drivers have never met will go on long rants to tear down another driver. I have my thoughts about lando, I get mad too and I say stuff not ONLINE where others can read. i think we all need to calm down keep our thoughts in our head and if your argument is "b-b-but other people are - but other people are doing it they're saying mean stuff!" hello! and it's not really that they're "evil" or "good", it's more about swapping their roles in the story, like how i'd personally go about making hater and peepers the protagonists without turning them into completely different people & vice versa with their foils.

obv they're not exactly the same people they are in canon, because their circumstances are way different, and they've ended up in different places because of them, but like. their core traits are the same. because i dont wanna shave off any of the things that make wander wander or sylvia sylvia. idk, i'm just doing this for fun, at the end of the day, so whatever interpretation people have for them or any part of this story is up to them, so long as they're having fun doing it.

and i don't mind fics or art at all! in fact i would be thrilled to read and see anything and everything you come up with because i think that's SO cool and art is awesomes and art is forever. ill say it forever i think taking inspiration is literally integral to making art whether u get it from the world u perceive around you or from the other things people make Its unavoidable and its beautiful #anyway

and the megalophobia thing isn't that serious, it makes me uncomfortable to see/be under/be within big things In Real Life but in art i just admire when people can go into the sheer scale of things . i'm a horror fan, so when i see things that specifically freak me out, its cooler? because the things that scare me are like soooo specific and i rarely see people nail them. if that makes sense. so by all means post & tag me in ur scary art about big planets

maybe this is a potential hot take of sorts but like ??? i genuinely do not have it in me to be upset about another adoption storyline ???

like sure, we’ve seen it multiple times, it comes off as boring and lazy writing, but as someone who has simply been hoping from the get-go that stellaride would start a family regardless of how, that conversation was everything to me😭

there’s a few different ways they could go about it i think that negate the repetition a little bit. plus !! i feel like some people have kinda glossed over the fact stella said she isn’t sure if she wants to be pregnant ?? in other words, that door is still open to be revisited, and if we don’t get a surprise pregnancy of sorts like i’ve seen a couple people spitball theories of, then we could potentially see stellaride go down both routes. have patience and faith !!

either way !! tl;dr of this post is just that i personally loved that final scene regardless of the outcome, and i’m so so excited to finally see them start their family; they deserve it something awful :’D <3

tbh I'm kind of... I tend to not entirely understand what limit we place between the "all need to strive to behave gracefully and being socially respectful and always understanding the space we must take to participate in society politely and productively with others", and the "we need to make space for mental illness and acknowledge it and destigmatize"

I'm not saying the two are incompatible, I don't think they are, but like. By definition, mental illness is about some form of incompatibility and dysfunction. Stigma is borderline impossible to avoid then. And I don't think we should follow unhealthy standards of human behavior from people who have unbalanced brains/trauma/haven't figured their stuff out yet, but I do find it complicated to reconcile the importance we put on good social behavior with the calls to try not to shame the mentally ill. I feel like they go hand in hand, by design. And I don't have a good solution, I don't even know what I think about that. But it is a thing I think.
